Every so often my adventures on the internet make me say, ‘Oh my gosh, breathe..!’ and when I found this shop I said just that. The Village Haberdashery is, well….a haberdashery. It caters for knitters, needlepointers, embroiderers and crocheters (I would have included those who sew, but no one wants to be called a sewer…do they…?). I found the site just over a week ago and every time I find myself on the internet (which is a lot – Housework…? What’s that?) I keep finding myself back in the shop musing over what dress pattern/fabric I might buy.
The layout of the shop is great, it’s simple and easy to navigate, but more importantly, I’m in love with the beautiful items they stock. Here is my wishlist (I may have to hide my purse)…..
The ‘Birthday Party’ dress pattern by Oliver + S. Cuteness in a packet.
The ‘Scirocco’ dress pattern by Figgy’s. So gorgeous. I can’t decide which one I want to make for my girls.
The ‘Banksia top’ pattern my Megan Nielsen. It’s currently sold out, but I’ve got my eye on this one….
… and finally, this fabric by Michelle Engel Bencsko. To. Die . For.
So, that’s my wishlist. check out The Village Haberdashery for yourself and see what catches your eye!

Bye for now

I too love the village haberdashery, in fact I ordered some delicious fabrics this morning! I love the fabric bundle you have your eye on, such great colours – what would you make out of them?
