The perfect pair of boots.

Is it me, or is getting dressed in the autumn a bit of a gamble? If you don’t get it right a part of you ends up either sweating or shivering. Although I’m not quite ready to reach for my winter coat, as far as I’m concerned warm feet are happy feet. So one thing I have been keeping an eye out for is a great pair of boots.

All too often I have sacrificed my comfort for a good looking pair of boots, but these days the need for comfort is real, people. Having said that, I was still a bit sceptical when Hotter Shoes approached me to try a pair of their boots. They specialise in comfort shoes and the phrase ‘comfort shoes’ has always conjured up in my mind images of old ladies in plastic rain bonnets. I could not have been more wrong.17_09_15f

Let’s talk about the comfort. Within the soles of every Hotter shoe are pyramid shaped foam pads that act as cushions underneath the balls of the feet. All that extra cushioning makes going for a walk and kicking the leaves a breeze.

They cater to a wide range of customer, so on first sight I wasn’t sure if I would find anything that suited my style, but on closer inspection I found these suede beauties.

In fact, it was a close call, between these, the Vanity boots in purple,  the Shawbury ankle boots and the Belle knee high boots17_09_15d
